LOUIS XVI watches are tested for water resistance up to 5 bar, which corresponds to the pressure of an assumed water column of 50 meters. This makes it suitable for everyday use such as bathing, showering or washing your hands.

The watertightness of a watch can deteriorate over time, for example due to the aging of seals or due to accidental bumps against one of the components responsible for the watertightness, such as the crown, the pushers or the watch glass. We recommend that you have your watch checked for water resistance once a year.
