FORGED CARBON
A watch case made of forged carbon - this is watchmaking art of the highest order. This exclusive material is produced by heating carbon fibers in stainless steel molds and pressing them with up to 300 kilograms of pressure per square centimeter. What remains is pure carbon - light, scratch-resistant and with an individual structure.
In the latest Noblesse models, accents of copper and aluminum are added to the forged carbon, giving these models their incomparable look.
TONNEAU - THE SHAPE
Since the beginning of watchmaking, watches were traditionally round. Later, rectangular or square watch cases appeared on the market occasionally. More unusual shapes were out of the question. Most watch manufacturers were too narrow-minded at that time. It was not until the 1990s that a break with tradition occurred. Contrary to the expectations of the established brands, the new case shapes were very well received by consumers.
Reflecting the courage to be different, we revived history with the Noblesse tonneau case. The shape, reminiscent of an upright barrel, delights true watch enthusiasts.
THE DIAL - OPEN DATE DISPLAY
The deliberate break with tradition was further pursued in the design of the dial. Parts of the movement and the date disc are visible through the openings in the dial. A design which is usually only found in mechanical movements.
SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL - DESPITE THE SHAPE
Even if the watch glass is not noticed very much due to its transparency, it has an important function. It protects the watch from dust, dirt and damage.
Sapphire crystal is unbeatable in terms of its many advantages, the king among watch crystals, so to speak. Its production is not easy, which explains its high price. Sapphire crystal cannot be scratched by everyday use. This is due to the fact that it has an incredible hardness. A quality feature we would not want to do without.
THE CASE BACK
The case back, fixed with 8 screws, was specially designed to guarantee water resistance. The interplay of satin and polished finish reflects the elegance of Noblesse. The personal serial number is engraved on the rim.
THE FINISHING
Nothing is left to chance in the production and finishing of LOUIS XVI watches. The edges on the case and bracelet are polished by hand. Particular attention is paid to uniform, perfect lines.
