THE MONARCH - THE STORIES
The first LOUIS XVI watch was created 10 years ago. In the meantime, many more models have been added. What has accompanied us since the beginning is the enthusiasm and passion for wristwatches. It is our vision to build watches that are truly regal. LOUIS XVI's latest collection, Le Monarque, is now available. Exceptional materials, innovative surface processing and a royal design without compromise are the characteristics of Le Monarque. It is available in silver and gold, each in 3 different versions.
TO THE COLLECTION
FORGED CARBON
The two models 1210 and 1211 have a bezel and dial made of forged carbon. This exclusive material is made by heating carbon fibers in stainless steel molds and pressing them with up to 300 kilograms of pressure per square centimeter. What’s left is pure carbon – light, scratch-resistant and with an individual structure.
FROSTED
A sparkling case and bracelet, shiny like ice crystals. This look is called frosted and is the characteristic of the models 1212 and 1213. In order to achieve the desired look, a complex process is necessary. The stainless steel must be hammered with a special diamond-tipped tool, creating tiny indentations.
ROYAL ENGRAVINGS
An engraved case and bracelet make the models 1214 and 1215 a visual highlight. The laser-engraved decorations give these models unparalleled elegance and a truly royal look.
THE CLOCKWORK
A Swiss caliber 5030.D from Ronda ticks inside Le Monarque. Ronda is one of the world's largest manufacturers of high-precision watch movements and has stood for the highest quality and durability since 1946.
In addition to the chronograph with center stop seconds, minute counter and hour counter, the 5030.D offers add & split functions, date and small seconds. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely long standard battery life of 54 months - a value that is second to none.
DIAMONDS
For the models 1212, 1213, 1214 and 1215 There are 10 octagon-cut diamonds on the dial, which underline the elegant character of the watch. Octagonal cut is a special type of cut in which the stone is processed in such a way that eight edges are created.
A carefully cut octagonal diamond achieves an extremely high level of brilliance. This is because larger facets have an optimal effect in the size range up to a maximum of 0.02 carat.
